1. CCP - Rookie System Rules Clarification - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Abstract arguments aside, what is the situation we are looking at. Every situation involving a possible New Player can be broken down simply: If your not in a new player system, no problem, if your not doing anything that would conceivably mess w...

2. CCP - Rookie System Rules Clarification - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
A lot of this seems to boil down to people saying "Don't mess with Noobs" Its SIMPLE! and the other side saying "Whats a Noob?, whats mess with mean?, it's nto simple!" To my mind they are both right. CCCP and for that matter EVE itself, NEEDS...

3. 2 Things I didn't know about Wormholes - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
What I believe is the mechanic you cannot enter the same wormhole through the same side within the time limit. To the original OP : your friend going through the WM had nothing to do with it.

4. Penalty for fitting a second..... - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I don't agree. Ship res bonuses are absolute bonuses to defense which is a good thing. Yes it lessens the impact of using hardeners but it lessens the need for them by exactly the same amount.

6. New Dev Blog: What Have We Done! - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Its perfectly possible to scout sleeper locations. Just use a cloaked Covert Ops. Scan for their locations, jump in cloaked bm the ones you can beat. then come back in some heavy iron. If you can't fly a covert ops well then use a really fast fri...

7. Best ISK/hour activity - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Edited by: Lincoln Armm on 09/03/2009 19:00:25 I think when you take into consideration all factors, IN GENERAL l4 high sec missions pay the most per hour. Any activity in 0.0 has both much higher risks and additional time sinks involved. ...

9. New Dev Blog: How the AI pew pews the player - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Moving toward PvE and PvP combat being similar is def the way to go but there is a major hurdle that you so far have not talked about. PvE in EVE is a net profit activity while PvE is a net loss. We can go into why this is but its not important f...

10. Getting more people into lowsec and 0.0 - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The original posters question is "how do we get more people in low sec", but several people have brought up points of view onthe more fundamental question "is it desirable to have more people in lowsec"? and also "what changes can be made without ...

11. New Dev Blog: POS Exploit - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Just to make something clear, this exploit did not generate isk and therefore did not have a general inflationary effect. It generated goods and was therefore deflationary. Of course the exploiters themselves were able to gain large amounts of isk...

12. CCP Zulupark answers your every question! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Currently PvE combat and PvP combat are extremely different (and therefore require different fittings etc). Does CCP see this as a problem? ANd if so how do they plan to address it? EVE has many game mechanics that are a poor moment-to-moment exp...

16. Mass of modules increased? or bug? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
If you thiink this hurts small corps more then big ones you are very much mistaken. Min compression is used mainly to ship large amounts of mins out to 0.0. Not exactly a small corp activity. This is not being done to "hurt" anyone its to increas...

17. New Fendahl Dev Blog, ARM Scripts and Bandwidth - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]

20. Run for office in EVE, the new CSM by Xhagen - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Frankly, ignorrant people who vote randomly (i.e. that person's name sounds cool), aren't really a problem. That sort of "noise" shows up in any election. But proxies provide a system for some of these people to be harnessed and focused. Obviously...
